I am an American. So, I learned the Camoin method from a friend in Europe who attended his workshops.

Of course, this was second-hand, so to speak. Alas-- here in the USA, we have no access to Camoin's lectures.

I wonder when M. Camoin's book is due? I am eager to learn from the master. Does anyone have any idea?

He speaks about his book since 3 years: Every 3 month he says his book will release in the next 3 or 6 month...

However, i think we have a real chance to read it this year in France, but i would not bet on an English translation before 2008.

May be you should write an email to Philippe’s School and ask workshops in USA, I know he speaks good English.

I have heard that his book seems to never come.
I will be pleased enough with the book in French. Although, I am just learning French, I would use computer software to scan the book, convert it with an optical word recognizer, and translate it by computer with a workable translation. This is how I managed Jodorowsky's La Voie du Tarot.

I have emailed Camoin, but never gotten a response, so I gave up.

I have tried to discuss his method on other forums, but am always met with secrecy from his students. I have no problem with this, as long as this secrecy is not interminable, especially after so many thousands have taken his workshops!

His book will come; it is only a matter of time.
In Marseille, people are speaking too much before they act. It is a local problem in this part of France

Yes I know you will probably never find Philippe's method on internet before he explains it in a book.
